How to Synchronize your Presence-Status
This feature can only be enabled by the administrator. By default it is not enabled.
With Sendent for Outlook, only applicable for the windows-only version, it's possible to synchronize your user-presence with Nextcloud. The user-presence is determined by two factors:
- Your availability in your primary personal Outlook calendar.
- User input activity on your computer.
This translated to the following status within Nextcloud. Every 1 minute, your Nextcloud status is determined by the following rules.
| Status | Description |
| Online | Recent user-input and no appointment. |
| Do not disturb | Appointment in calendar at current time. |
| Away | If there hasn't been any activity for over 1 minute and if there's no appointment in the calendar. |
